Partner Led Projects

Partner Led Projects – Discovery can also place volunteers with projects run by other organisations.


  • Brynmill Buddies: Be a friendly face at a drop in for community members in Brynmill.
  • Circus Eruption: Ever wanted to join the circus? Here’s a chance to learn and teach circus skills to children with and without disabilities.
  • Down to Earth: Get involved with the improvement of an outdoor educational space.
  • Discovery Dragons: Develop your coaching skills and help children discover a passion for sport.
  • EYST: Volunteer at a drop-in session for young people from ethnic minority backgrounds, or offer homework support.
  • Project Green: Feeling stressed? Get stuck in with some gardening in the Botanical Gardens.
  • Remember Me: Support activities at a group for people with dementia.
  • Survive and Save Swansea: Be trained to provide water safety and awareness advice and life saving skills.
  • Surfability: Help out at a surf school for young people with disabilities, and enable them to gain confidence through learning new skills.
  • Talking Hands: Regular committed volunteers needed to take part in a weekly youth group for teenagers with hearing impairments.
  • The Vetch: Support local people with a community garden and allotments site.
  • Unity in Diversity: Support a drop-in for refugees and asylum seekers by helping run the kitchen, assisting with practice language skills and being a friendly face.
