Community Recognition Awards

/ June 4, 2020/ Uncategorized

Volunteers have played a vital role in the Covid-19 pandemic response, providing essential support to those who are most vulnerable in our communities and helping everything run as smoothly as possible during this challenging time.

We want to take a moment to recognise those Swansea University students and staff that have been part of supporting their communities in all sorts of ways.

So join us in saying thank you and help us understand the difference the university community is making.

Please tell us your stories of what our university students and staff have done for you, people you know or your wider community as a response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to hear any story, big or small, whether they’ve chatted to you over the garden wall, delivered someone’s shopping and essentials, put their street’s bins out on a Tuesday night, shared useful information or donated to the local food bank. We know it all makes a real difference. It might be through formal volunteering or just lending a helping hand

Every story you share, we will make sure that person is recognised by Discovery and Swansea University and thanked for their efforts.

You can share your story with us by completing our digital form here: https://forms.gle/UaP8qG3PAwcGJyGWA
