Discovery’s Training Programme 2022

/ February 10, 2022/ Uncategorized

The Discovery training programme for the Spring term is now live! Our training programme is a great opportunity to gain skills and knowledge relevant to your volunteering, and generally to learn new things. The sessions are a mixture of awareness talks and opportunities to practice new skills, and will be held on Zoom unless otherwise stated.

We are kicking of this term with a Safeguarding session on Wednesday 9th February, which will tell you everything you need to know about keeping attendees safe on our projects. Following that we have a Disability Awareness session on Monday 14th February, which will be valuable for all volunteers who are wanting to learn how to be more inclusive of disabled people. All training sessions can be signed up to on the Discovery Fatsoma page https://www.fatsoma.com/discoverysvs.

Sessions will continue to be added so keep checking back!
