Student Trustee Profile – Freya Michaud
Freya is the Project Coordinator for the Legal Innovation Lab Wales at Swansea University and is responsible for all of the communications, events organisation and administration for the project, ensuring all mechanisms behind the scenes are in place so the project runs smoothly. She hopes to bring these skills to her role in Discovery.
She has worked in charities and has a wealth of experience working in a variety of roles in Universities, with experience in HR, student wellbeing, events, and committee servicing. She has served on strategy boards and high level University committees, as well as networks concerning equality & diversity, communications and mental health.
She has a Masters degree in Ethics and is currently studying another Masters degree part time in Public Policy. Her commitment to justice and helping people is what led her to become a trustee of Discovery. She is particularly interested in being involved with policy and equality, diversity, and inclusion work.
She loves spending time outdoors, walking in the local Welsh countryside and climbing the cliffs on the coast.
